I have done a small doily before. I am so proud that I was able to do this big one that I had in my Ravelry queue forever. I made this for my parents in law. Before, I starched the doily it was a lavender color and after I used sta flo to starch it the lavender color turned into a light blue.
This doily about killed my hands, wrist and shoulders. I hate working with thread for that reason but the results are very beautiful. I also can't go as fast with thread and steel crochet hook as I can with yarn and regular sized crochet hooks.

Great Use For Your Knitted or Crocheted Scarves
Yesterday I was having a cardiac catheterization test and was told to leave my arm at heart level for 24 hrs. A pillow just got in the way. So I thought about the slings people with broken arms use I didn’t have a sling so I told my husband to use my crocheted scarf.

Turtle Drawstring Bag I Tested
I was lucky to get to test this bag for Turtlelvr. I am one of her 'automatic' testers. I used Red Heart Super Saver (RHSS) yarn. The solid color is Light Periwinkle and the multi color is Ocean.
